The last month was spent doing a little cosmetic work to the Blue Heaven. We removed the bow rail and the anchor pulpit. Why???!!! you ask???? Removing the bow rail and pulpit just gives the boat a cleaner sleeker look. In place of the fiberglass pulpit, we installed a stainless steel removable fairlead. When using the anchor. we just fit the fairlead into the deck plate mounted on the bow. When not in use, the anchor and fairlead store below deck.
But to get to that point.... There was a lot of busted knuckles and plenty of nights cursing the fiberglass itch one gets with cutting an grinding fiberglass.
Sorry this is not one of those blogs filled with fun and sun. Below is a pictorial following the job.
