The new ride |
The weeks we spent in the paint shed we well worth it. The boat stands out as a real show piece. I was impressed when half the employees at the viking yards in Riviera stopped work when the boat came out of the boat shed. Everyone was taking pictures and remarking about the boat.
We splashed the boat last a few days ago. After spending a night in West Palm, we ran the boat south. we fished for a bit, but did not see much. We did pull the hook on one sailfish. We pulled into Ocean Reef club for the evening before continuing the next day to Key West.
The following morning, we saw lots of sailfish but could not get them to bite. They were to busy showering schools of ballyhoo on the reefs edge. The boss says the fish did not bite because of the fishes that I painted on the bottom of the boat. ( see picture) The boat is now in Key West for the Holidays.
