All over the islands there are large iguanas. They have no predators and basically run wild everywhere. The iguanas ranging from 1 foot to 3 feet long live all over the marina. . There are a few of the big ones that have made themselves at home cruising the floor of Mollys. A few days ago I watched one climb up a tourist leg and onto his plate and help itself to some breakfast. While at lunch yesterday at Molly Molones , at the base of our dock, Kyle was a nervous wreck. He was twitching all the way through his lunch. A three footer took up station right by our table and intimidated the crap out of kyle. It probably did not help that I kept egging the lizard on by taunting it with food. I love to entertain myself at Kyles expense.
We spent the rest of the day doing oil change. We did all the filters and fluids on the boat. It is always a long hot sweaty process. In addition to spending the day with oil and deisel fuel running off of my elbow, I seem to cut or scratch myself on everything I touched. During clean up after the oil change, I think I wiped up as much blood as I did oil. Today we are washing and waxing the hull from a borrowed tender. I hope I come through it with less scratches that yesterday.
