Big ass Tails.

The end of our season is drawing to an end. What a better way to end the fishing season than with Fantasy Fest in Key West and great snapper fishing.
Fantasy Fest, is a week long event that brings together all kinds of people. Its kind of like Mardi Gras in New Orleans ( with few rules). Many of you that have not been to Fantasy Fest will assume that it is all nudity and " alternative life style" things going on. In the realm of things there is very little Nekiidness. The People that do choose to wear nothing but paint are rarely spectacular to look at. In fact i heard a guy say about fantasy Fest that, I have seen thing I never wanted to see, I have seen things no one should ever see, and I have seen things I never want to see again. Yes there are those people that choose to wear nothing but body paint. But by and large most of them should have kept their clothes on. There are many great costumes that are not adult themed as well.  As for the gay or alternative life style contingent… Yes its there, but not prevalent. Fantasy Fest is one of those rare events that brings together all walks of life. Nowhere else on earth will you find a Biker, a drag queen, a couple wearing paint, Young folks, old folks and a mix of everything between in one bar at any given time.
The snapper fishing for us was Epic. We caught some of the largest Yellow Tail Snapper I have ever seen. Some of the Yellow tail snapper were as big as 5 lbs. Unfortunately, the area where we caught them is inundated with Jew fish. Wile we brought lots of fish to the dock, the jewfish took their   toll on us fishing their homes. If you hooked a snapper any deeper than 40 feet   of water the Jew fish would come up from their haunts at 85 feet and eat the fish you hooked. We also caught quite a few African pompano and a few Mutton snapper as well as a bunch of Mangrove snapper. Great fishing.
