You Call THIS a Storm????

A classic from Forest Gump!
Bertha was a bust.  I did have a shoe get blown off the dock and into the water. it was an old stinky one so I let Bertha take it.  That was the extent of our damages.  On Saturday morning the eye passed about 75 miles south of St Thomas. We had 25-30 sustained winds for a bit but other than than we just got a lot of rain. Nothing more than a big rainy thunderstorm. Thanks by the way to all of you that sent the safe wishes.
Ok so maybe I got a little cabin fever on Saturday
Next the storm will me bringing heavy rains to the Turks and Caicos after raining a bit on the Dominican Republic. I know they need the rains in the Turks and Caicos.
I am sure before the summer is over, we will have to dodge another storm or two. This one was easy. they are not always like that.

We have the boss and "the old guys ( AKA Bartles and James) " coming in on Wednesday. Looking forward to pounding the north drop for some blue marlin. and sharing an adult beverage with the old guys. I just hope Joe does not wear his speedo swimsuit when we go snorkeling. He will traumatize the reef fish for miles. When they leave the following Tuesday, I have family coming in. We will spend a couple of days in the islands then we will hop over to Culebra then to Puerto Rico. From there I will bring the boat northward to the Turks and Caicos and eventually to Key West. Its been a fun season, But its time to start heading back north.
I have Capt Biddles flying back down to help out this week while Tyler is back home seeing to his father. I miss him being here but he needs to be there. Stay strong T.
