Best fish pics from last year

As the beginning of a new season approaches us, we always seem to get that wander lust in our veins. We want to be at home, But we want to travel to exotic locations and the opportunity to catch lots of big fish is causes one to drift off at times. .

The New Blue Heaven is well suited for these travels. She is bigger faster and more accommodating that the old boat. We will spend the next month tweaking her out and making everything just right so that when we travel, we have few if any issues. 

I have a new mate on board. He started this week. He is young, ( 21) holy crap my son is 20!!!!! Man am I old. He seems to be a hard worker and is wide eyed and eager with everything we do on board.  He is in for one hell of a year. 

This last week we got to do an interesting trip around Tampa Bay. We had the new port director for all the Tampa bay ports on board. We took him to and into each and every shipping facility in Tampa bay. It was a very interesting trip for me. 

This next week is going to be spent preparing the boat for the Big Pirate invasion of Tampa bay. ( Gasparilla) 

Lots of pirate flags to be raised and pirate decorations to be displayed. The Pirate boat parade happens this coming Saturday.
