The beach at Casa de Campo |
Boss is back. Most crews cant wait for the owner to leave.... Back of the head party soon ensues. We never want him to leave. This trip he brought one of my favorite friend that he brings along on many trip. Able is a trip. He is one of the nicest and funniest people I have ever met. Also on this trip, The boss let me fly in Chris Biddles. Chris and I use to work together when I ran the Victory. He is now the captain on the Victory. Its going to be a rare pleasure to have him aboard for the next week.
The flight down in the private plane for the guys had one major glitch. at 28,000 feet Polly ( Bosses dog) could not hold it any longer. She pooped in an aluminum pressurized cylinder traveling at 260kts. The smell , from what i was told was horrific. There was gagging and laughing the rest of the flight. Poor Polly.
We fished yesterday and did not do to well with the Blue marlin. We only had three bites and saw one other ones. One of the fish was hooked for a bit but during its acrobatic display, it spit the hook. We did have a good day on the food fish. We catch a mess of nice dorado and one wahoo.
Today we are sitting at the dock as the boss had some business to take care of. The boys are putting the paddleboards in the water and I think we will paddle around to the house we have rented.
The houses here on property as amazing. All of them have open air living rooms and the architecture is grand. I have never been in a house with a full service staff. They are awesome. The chef was outstanding as well.
No boats fished today. We will start back at it in the morning. Looking forward to getting back out again.............
Did not post this blog yesterday. Figured I would wait till we fished. We did!
We had a great day fishing. We went 2 for 4 on Blue Marlin and saw a few more that did not eat. We also caught one White marlin and some more dorado. It was rough as shit but the fishing seemed to calm the seas with each fish we saw or caught. Allido Beaz ( aka Steve Swindal ) had a blue and a white.
We had intended to fish the tournament that started today. But the boss had a meeting so we stayed at the dock. With 25 knot winds I doubt it would have been much fun anyway.
