Damn its cold

The Blue Heaven is at Highbourne Cay in the north end of the Exumas, Bahamas. We ran here yesterday from Nassau after the boss and my son flew in on friday afternoon. We woke yesterday to ran and cold winds. As the day went by it just seemed to get colder and more breezy. After crossing the yellow bank, we fished for a while in the lee of Highboune and caught a nice wahoo for my son and a dorado for the boss. But the cold rain and blustery winds made it miserable. By the time we eased into Highbourne, the wind was 30 knots. Steve and Tyler jokingly asked where they could get ski lift tickets.
As I type this the morning the sky off to the east is bright and as the sun brightens the dawn sky and it appears that the rains of yesterday have gone. The wind is still there, but nothing like yesterday. I think that we will fish our way to Hawks nest Marina at the south end of Cat island.
Sorry no pictures. The internet like everything in the Bahamas is snail slow.
