Back home and a butt load of pics to show for it

After traveling and being chased by marlin lures for five and a half months, the Blue Heaven is back home in its slip at Pasadena Yacht club. The last week in Key West was very productive on lobsters. The seemed to have just started crawling good when we left.  The size was up as well.
When returning to home after traveling for a big trip, its always weird to try and get back into the grind of getting up and going to work. For the past months we were always at work. But it is nice to get off the boat.
Upon returning, Tyler and I stripped the boat. Everything came out of all the hatches. It is truly amazing how much crap one accumulates on a trip. The boat is sitting just a bit higher in the water now that all that stuff is off the boat.
Just before we brought the boat home from Key West to St Pete, I went to Pensacola for a mini vacation. It was a family week on the beach. It was all real nice except for one thing. For those of you that have been stuck by a stingray, you will know what I am talking about. I got hit in the foot the first day there. Holy Crap.... That was as painful as when I gave birth! I was ready to call home land security and have them close the beach. Im here to tell you, you DO NOT ever want to have a stingray stick you.
This weekend we had the pleasure of taking some MLB ball players out fishing. Mariano Rivera, Andy Petit and David Roberson joined us for a half day trip on Saturday. I was a nervous wreck as they brought a film crew to document the day. It never fails, the day a film crew shows up, the fish dont bite. But this time was different. We had a great day. The red groupers chewed the bottom off and we caught some nice black grouper as well. Fox Sports plans to air the segment right after baseball season. It should be entertaining.
The next few months should be easy going. We have a few projects to do on the boat, But I am looking most forward to getting up to the woods and doing some hunting. Beware the Killer Squirrels.
At the end of each season I try to post a bunch of our favorite pics from the season. They are posted below. It was a great season and we are glad to be home.
