Video of Alta Chavon river where Apocalypse Now Filmed
There have not been to many boats out fishing over the last 4 days. The winds were quite brisk and not many boats had guests in town for the past few days. The Betsy did go out yesterday and caught a few more Blue Marlin as well as some big mahi and wahoo. There were also two nice Swordfish that hit the docks in the last week from local sportfish boats that are fishing 8 miles out.

The boat is clean and waxed, the engines are serviced and ready to go. Kyle is on the dock rigging mullet for a dredge teaser and has some big ballyhoo thawing in a bucket of brine.
As I said the last week went slowly. We made a trip into La Romana for supplies but other than that we have no left the confines of CDC. There were a few great games of Poker played on a few nights at the house the Due Course has rented. But beyond that, We have been laying low and waiting for the boss to come in so that we can start fishing.
I have all of our GoPro cameras charged and ready so I should be posting some good shots over the next week.
