Last few days

Kyle and mike with a Keys sailfish
It is the last few days before we leave the states for the Caribbean. Kyle went back home to be with family after the passing of his grandfather. He returns Tuesday night. I stayed here at the boat as we still have a few issues to deal with on the boat. We now have two air conditioners acting up. I have a tech showing up this morning. Hope he can get it resolved. Really dont want to have A/C issues as we click the Latitudes southward.
nice triple tail
Our last day of fishing here at Ocean Reef was yesterday. We fished from 9 till two. We saw two sailfish in the spread and caught one. We also caught 3 dorado. The total fishing from fishing here in ORC, brought us 3 sailfish, 3 Wahoo, 2 triple tails and 3 dorado.
Damn them are some sexy feet
Looks like the weather is conducive to crossing the gulf stream on Wednesday or Thursday. I just hope the A/C units are repaired by then. The Gulf stream between here and Bimini can be rough with all the NE winds we have had, But its only 60 miles.
When I travel like this, It is always nice to get e-mails from friends. I seem to reconnect with people when I travel. It is a shame that I dont stay in touch better than I do when I am not traveling. As we go about our lives, we tend to get wrapped up in things that seem important at the time and lose perspective on what really is important.  One thing that I have learned recently is that those friends that are close to you, are worth the extra little effort.....
