Crappy day

There are times that music seems to just say it all. At times the artist seems to be singing to you or about you. Yesterday I jammed to Kenny Chesney all day as I fixed stuff at the house.  Other times ya just need the music to improve or enhance your mood. Some music reminds you of people or places you have been to. When I am getting ready to travel, It seems I am drawn back to Kenny Chesney. He sings so well of the islands and it sets the mood right.  On some days Kyle and I will be rigging tackle for the upcoming trip to the Caribbean and Bob Marley or some reggae from Luciano psych us up. Sitting on a dock as the sunburns up the atmosphere as it sets over a crystal clear lagoon calls for some Earl Klugh guitar Jazz. Nothing beats anything by Carlos Santana to get it going when the fish are not biting. Sitting in any marina anywhere calls for some Jimmy buffet played low as background music.  Working out to U2 seems to just keep me going and going.
So I had My U2 all dialed up on my Ipod and since I was awake at 4:45 this morning, I decided that the rest of the world must be awake. I grabbed the earphones and headed to the Gym at 6am. ( U2 would have to wait) The Gym does not open till 8 on Sunday. I was turning to head back to the house when I got a text from a friend that the Blue Heaven had an alarm beeping. I cranked up my Kenny Chesney play list and headed south to the boat. As I walked down the dock I accidentally flipped the music to a Flo Rida song my daughter burned onto a cd I had loaded onto the Ipod. As I grimaced at the song and went to change it, A seagull pooped right on my face as he flew by. Then 30 feet later I was stepping onto the boat and a Black crow that had been perched in the outriggers pooped in my hair. What the hell... Flo Rida is now erased from my Ipod.  They say getting shit on by a bird is good luck. I better place some bets on the big game tonight. Hope this crappy day gets better. :~)
